Hi, my name is Nadine, I have an old barn selling all types of old, curious and crafted objects. The barn is located in a small farming village in Burgundy, France, a few miles from the vine yards, the plateau of Auxois, the Burgundy Canal and the valley Ouche.
We call the barn "La Chouette Grange", which means the Owl Barn, but is aso a play on French words, as Chouette (Owl) is pronounced in the same way as "choute" which in English means "cute". So it the name can be "the owl barn" or "the cute barn". Why the Owl,well the first time I went into the barn, an Owl flew out and scared me !
You are more than welcome to visit the barn during the opening hours, but you can also make a rendezvous for other times.

As I was born and have lived the area for "decades", I have good knowledge about the villages and what is happening, this helps me find many of the objects that I sell. I especially enjoy collecting old baskets, publicity signs and furniture, but there are also many other items that I have found which might be of interesting to you. Take a look...

At the barn you will also find all types of expos by local artists, photographers, handcraft and people who are just talented and enjoy sharing their skills. I try to vary and change these events so it's always worthwhile for you to revisit the barn.
