Soda fountain

Soda fountain
A soda fountain is called "Syphon" in French and this one was made in Paris, the glass flask is very thick and in perfect condition. The name of the cafe is also decorated on the flask and read "Brasserie Eugène Guillot, Saulieu". On the metal handle, you can read the manufacturer "Durafort & Fils", but there is also the name of the cafe where it was used, "Brasserie E. Guillot" in the town of Saulieu.

Ricard water jug

Ricard
If you know France, you know Ricard, one of the makers of the famous yellow coloured aniseed drinks. This is one of the old fashined water jugs, it would have been placed in a fridge to stay cool and then on the table when the drinks where served. I also have a small blue Ricard jug as well as an ice bucket.
(Price 30 Euro, 40US$, £20)
